Exterior Impact Doors

Exterior impact doors are designed to withstand the worst hurricanes. At Sabana Windows we have tested our mahogany impact doors to withstand both high and low pressures, and hurricane force wind. Our impact doors have both Dade county and Florida approvals.  You will not need to put shuttles in front of your mahogany impact door in order to meet building requirements.

Not only are our solid mahogany doors impact resistance but also our French mahogany doors. All impact French doors come with impact laminated glass which does not shatter. Our glass was designed to withstand large missiles in hurricane force wind.  Mahogany impact doors protect your home from Mother Nature’s worse.

Security with exterior impact doors

Ever exterior impact door comes with security locks. These are not standard lock which can be easily broken into but high security locks with three dead bolts. Along with the high security mechanisms every impact exterior door needs surface bolts. Surface bolts ensure the  door will not fly inwards when hit by a high velocity objects.  

At Sabana Windows we manufacture ever impact exterior door to be 2 ¾” thick. This ensures that a flying object will not go throw your door. It also makes it their difficult to  chop throw the door with an axe or other tools. Due to the thickness of every impact door you can be ensure that you will be secure with your mahogany impact door.
